FLCCC changes name to IMA- is Pierre Kory out??

A quick article here.

The FLCCC changed their name to the Independent Medical Alliance (IMA). That much is straightforward. Below is a screenshot of the IMA webpage available at: https://covid19criticalcare.com/flccc-is-now-ima/.

TrialSiteNews has published some rather puzzling articles about the status of Dr. Paul Marik and Dr. Pierre Kory in articles that described the renaming of the FLCCC. They published one on January 17, and retracted it on January 19.

Let’s start with the retraction; TrialSiteNews published the following text on January 19, 2025, where they described making an error about the status of the “founders” of the FLCCC:

TrialSite Made a Mistake on the Recent Independent Medical Alliance Update

Recently, TrialSite errored in an article about the Independent Medical Alliance. Formerly the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care (FLCCC) Alliance. We reported on this move and made a mistake.

Checking the new organization's website, it included two of the original founders of the FLCCC, Dr. Pierre Kory and Paul Marik. They were listed apparently, inappropriately as still founders and on the clinical team.

A brief update was made without calling the two founders to confirm that they were still part of the organization, even though they were listed on the website.

One of the founders texted Daniel O’Connor, founder of TrialSite Inc., irate, with some very angry and frankly, inappropriate language.

Regardless, the article has been taken down, and we are issuing this correction. While we aim to be accurate all the time, from time to time, we make mistakes, and when we discover the issue, we quickly correct them. TrialSite issues an apology for any problems this article caused. We do not apologize for the hard-hitting, independent, and pathbreaking coverage we have introduced to the biopharmaceutical research sector since going live in early 2019.

So “one of the founders” was very irate and used inappropriate language. Well that narrows it down a bit, because as we all know, the founders of the FLCCC were Paul Marik and Pierre Kory. I don’t see why TrialSiteNews chose to use vague language about which founder they were referring to.

Dr. Marik is still with the organization according to the IMA. This screenshot of IMA’s Substack Note’s page today on January 22, 2025 shows that Dr. Marik is listed as the IMA’s “Chief Scientific Officer.” There is no mention of Kory here, but I have not searched everything the IMA has published recently.

As for the original article, it just so happens that I saved the headline and a little bit of the text of the article that TrialSiteNews took down on January 17, 2025. It was titled:

FLCCC Becomes the Independent Medical Alliance, Founders Back as Post-COVID Landscape Challenges Mount

The link above no longer functions. I have not been able to access in internet archives either.

Anyway, it said the FLCCC founders were back.

I saved this text from the January 17 article in a rough draft on Substack because I disagreed with Dr. Marik’s claim that the IMA was devoted to “transparency and accountability,” and planned to write about it later. This was a direct quote from the January 17 deleted article:

Dr. Paul Marik, IMA’s Chief Scientific Officer and Co-founder, reflected on the evolution: "What began as a crisis-driven effort is now a global movement for healthcare reform. Our new name embodies our commitment to revolutionizing medicine with transparency and accountability."

About a year ago, I asked Dr. Kory if he would provide his data on mortality. I think it shocked a lot of people. There are 250 comments in the comment section of this article. Many people staunchly defended Dr. Kory without ever seeing his actual mortality data.

Subsequently to writing this article, and frequently sharing a video where Dr. Kory described watching ventilated, sedated, and paralyzed patients die every day, his defenders have changed their tune a bit. Now they say things like this in response to the video. This comment is from Eleftherios Gkioulekas:

And then, very quickly figured out this was the wrong approached, proposed alternatives (steroid use, etc), had better results, and was then persecuted. The ventilator approach assumed that covid pneumonia was just like flu pneumonia, but Kory quickly figured out this was not the case. I saw their monthly reports on this topic at the very beginning of the pandemic, that's how it went down.

Quite frankly, I think many people are in denial about Dr. Kory’s COVID medical record, although I don’t want to rehash the entire timeline again here.

I just want to know the number of patients he treated, and the number of deaths, by week, in 2020. There’s only one way to settle an argument like this, and that’s with the data. Any organization that is dedicated to “transparency and accountability” would provide this extremely important medical information.

Perhaps Dr. Kory’s nontransparent record has something to do with the odd reporting of TrialSiteNews. I found this recent reporting from TrialSiteNews noteworthy, given the questions that I have raised, and thought I would share this news with my subscribers.
