Fortunately, we can cut some psyops short.

It takes a certain amount of computer power to run a simulation. But it would take more such power than exists to run a simulation with the same computing power. Thus, each level of simulation necessarily loses a lot of detail.

It's not even clear if we can (we would need a lot of hacks along the way), for instance, ever identify genetic, sequential strands that are viable quasi-species viral in nature.

How do you know that " certain amount of computer power " has not been made available to some already?

There are simulations going on (behind the scenes) that NOBODY is talking about.

No, there aren't. You're falling for a psyop. Learn to apply the Infinite Monkey Theorem. The number of computations necessary to produce even a small corner of reality cannot be achieved.

"The number of computations necessary to produce even a small corner of reality cannot be achieved", yet, in your opinion. Noted. Thanks for sharing your opinions.

It's not an opinion. If you learn the math, you'll find out.

I find comfort in the fact that these hellhounds are constrained by the same reality that constrains me. It allows me to gain some understanding of the limits of their ability to leverage the forces of nature as weapons. Yes, we are in an asymmetrical war, and, yes, they have the clear advantage in their access to information. However, if I can wrap my head around the science and allow myself to be sufficiently imaginative (i.e. think like a demented psychopath), then I can get pretty darn close at understanding what they can do, and more importantly, what they CANNOT do. I've started to realize that the asymmetry in this war is more perceived than actual. Much of their strategy appears to rely on bluffing.
