This article goes to demonstrate how long the drug (pharmaceutical) cartel has been in power in the United States. On April 1, 1909, the Opium Exclusion Act was signed into law. America's Hundred Years War On Drugs the Opium Exclusion Act, totally prohibiting the importation of smoking opium into the U.S. The Act, which took effect on April 1, 1909, marked the true beginning of national drug prohibition. From that point on, the U.S. government became progressively involved in the business of suppressing illicit substances. There ensued an escalating government policy of seizures, raids, prosecution, imprisonment, and progressive criminalization. One immediate consequence of the Opium Exclusion Act was a rapid shift in the drug market from smoking opium to morphine, heroin, and other drugs that were still not regulated.
Another thing....... A little bit off subject, but very telling.... The national broadcasting service here (Norway) canceled April Fools Day a few years ago in order to combat fake news.
They lie 24/7/365, and April 1 has now become the date they will refuse to tell an obvious lie as a joke.
Great piece. Impressed. The first heroin epidemic in NYC was 1910. Government agents flooded the streets with the straight dope, and many poor people became addicts. America's drug problem is caused by its federal government corporation. They rule the marketplace and arrest or kill their competition. The CIA laces coke so they can identity non-company product and trace it back to its source. It's one of the government corporation's best and longest running rackets. These British companies and their evil drugs have a long history going back to the 16th century in China. The USA is just another evil British company exploiting foreign lands, in this case it exploits the people of the states.
"The Politics of Heroin: CIA Complicity in the Global Drug Trade"
"The first book to prove CIA and U.S. government complicity in global drug trafficking, The Politics of Heroin includes meticulous documentation of dishonesty and dirty dealings at the highest levels from the Cold War until today. Maintaining a global perspective, this groundbreaking study details the mechanics of drug trafficking in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South and Central America. New chapters detail U.S. involvement in the narcotics trade in Afghanistan and Pakistan before and after the fall of the Taliban, and how U.S. drug policy in Central America and Colombia has increased the global supply of illicit drugs."
FWIW, the Pre-2020 jump in opioid deaths coincides with expanded flu surveillance sentinels/testing

How pathetic is that?
