I wonder if Malone went to a psychiatrist for that. If he's big into taking those psych drugs, it would explain his animosity towards Peter Breggin with that BS lawsuit.
I don't know. Malone said it was due to the competition over patent rights to his technology between UC San Diego and the Salk Institute. I think it may have had something to do with this comment from Malone:
"You know all normal ethics are suspended in that kind of environment. Much as we see with Tony Fauci and some of his operations."
It certainly seems that they were doing some extremely unethical things at Salk that would be far more stressful than some patent argument.
But didn't he keep researching unethical gene manipulation therapy? He is proud of his patents and wanted everyone to know he is the founder of the mRNA technology. Just because you can do it doesn't mean you should. Which drives them more egos or money?
His dream was to bring "gene therapy" to the world. It has been his life's work. I don't know what drives him, but I believe that more than anyone in the world, he knows that it is unhealthy.
