I'm not even surprised anymore. It's just human nature at this point in history to do nothing and expect someone else to do it because it is the obvious thing to do.
I've tried to make Dr. Malone aware of this method before, and he has expressed no interest. Others have suggested Steve Kirsch. We will see.
